Almosafer – omni-channel concept

Objective – To transform dated Al Tayyar travel offices into customer centric, omni-channel, Almosafer branded hubs in Saudi Arabia.

My role – Initially my role was to support the in-house team deliver the retail strategy, but due to my experience I took responsibility for the concept development and oversaw the implementation from a design, construction, technology and content perspective – reporting back to the MD on progress.

Solution Two pilot branches were launched in April 2019 and a handbook developed for a modular roll out of the concept delivered in May 2019.

Outcome – This was a significant step-change for everyone involved in the project, as we were asking for things to be done in a completely new way to ensure the concept could be delivered as envisioned. This meant progress was slower than we hoped, but it was important to go at a speed that kept the business engaged. Feedback from the business is excellent – as this project was one of the most visible, it has highlighted the new SEERA strategy and used as an example of how far the transformation is going.
